The National Association of Ticket Brokers (NATB) was created in 1994 by a group of concerned ticket brokers who sought to institute an industry-wide standard of conduct and to construct honorable guidelines and practices to guard the public and create a progressive view of the industry.
While the aspirations of the NATB are countless, their principal is to epitomize the good of legitimate ticket brokers by promoting consumer safeguards and teaching the public about the ticket broker industry. This is done by reassuring the public that when dealing with an NATB member, they are working with an honorable, dependable broker that will furnish what is represented.
In addition, the NATB has created a policy that permits the public to report unethical behavior by ticket brokers. Through self-governance, the NATB has created increased protections for ticket-buying consumers.
NATB has worked with law enforcement agencies, state and federal legislators and professional sports leagues and teams. Indeed, NATB has been critical in the NFL’s war against phony and pirate tickets.
